- הֶדְיָא(v. preced.) presence, directness; בה׳ openly, explicitly. Snh.39a לשקליה בה׳ (Yalk. Gen. 24 בַּהֲדֵיה, v. הַד־) He ought to have taken it (Adams rib) openly (while he was awake).
